This Agreement shall, unless earlier terminated pursuant to the provisions below, be for an initial period of one (1) year from the effective date of ……………………….., until and including the …………………………….. The Agreement may be renewed for further periods of one (1) year upon mutual consent by both parties subject to new terms and conditions. Such renewal should take place in writing between the parties at least one (1) month prior to the expiry of the Agreement.

1. The “Docks World” card is non-transferable and can only be used by named Cardholders. Attempted misuse will result in confiscation without compensation and potential action for damages.
2. In order to benefit from a discount with a Participating Partner, the Cardholder shall produce his original “Docks World” card, together with proof of identity, acceptable by the Participating Partner.
3. The full name of the Cardholder must be written on the physical “Docks World” card.
4. The Cardholder acknowledges and agrees that:
   • A Participating Partner has the right to refuse any discount in the event that the Cardholder fails to prove his identity;
   • The Participating Partners reserve the right to change and/or cancel their discount offer at any time;
   • A Participating Partner has the right to refuse cards that are defaced or damaged;
   • The discount rates proposed by Participating Partners vary for shops, entertainment & leisure activities/wellness centres and the services proposed;
   • In so far as restaurants operated by Participating Partners are concerned, the discount which the Cardholder is entitled applies to the total bill on the table and only on the ‘à la carte’ menus. Whenever the Cardholder attends a restaurant operated by a Participating Partner with his family and/or friends, the Cardholder shall be entitled to negotiate with the Participating Partner so that his family and/or friends may also benefit from discount associated with the “Docks World” card. However, the Participating Partner shall not be bound to accede to the Cardholder’s request.
   • The discount which the “Docks World” card offers cannot be accumulated with other discounts and a Participating Partner has exclusive discretion to decide whether the “Docks World” card can be used in conjunction with any other offer and/or discount being offered it;
   • The “Docks World” card is valid for unlimited use with the Participating Partners for a period of one year. The expiry date is specified and printed on the card;
   • Any card that has been tampered with, (i.e erased font, expiry date or name of Cardholder being modified) will result in the card being void;
   • UDL may keep and maintain a record of the usage of the “Docks World” card and Cardholder details for marketing purposes and in line with the Data Protection Act. The Cardholder hereby consents to the notification and printing of their name, surname, personal ID card number and other details on the “Docks World” card at UDL’s sole discretion;
   • It shall promptly notify UDL if any Participating Partner does not honour the discount/special offer as advertised on Docks World website ( Docksworld.com), without good and sufficient cause;
   • UDL reserves the right to remove any Participating Partner from its website at any time without notice;
   • UDL reserves the right to remove and/or alter any offer from its website at any time without notice;
   • UDL shall assume no responsibility for any arrangements, contracts, purchases, or disputes between a Participating Partner and any Cardholder. All questions and disputes from Cardholders who use the discount offer shall be taken up with the concerned Participating Partner;
   • UDL shall have no liability whatsoever attached or attributed to the products and/or services as offered by a Participating Partner;
   • Any attempt to sell or barter the “Docks World” card is prohibited unless expressly authorized by UDL in writing. Any attempt to do so will render the “Docks World” card void and UDL reserves the right to seek remedy and compensation accordingly;
   • Participating Partners are entitled to withdraw from the Promotional Scheme or to change the terms and conditions of their availability after the Cardholder has become a member. UDL shall have no responsibility for any such withdrawals by Participating Partners or any such changes in their terms and conditions or availability. It shall be the Cardholder’s sole and exclusive responsibility to keep informed on Participating Partners information by checking UDL’s website.
5. The nature and rate of the discounts granted by each Participating Partner shall be stipulated on Docks World website ( Docksworld.com), and the Participating Partners reserve the right to refuse to issue discounts on public holidays and special occasions.
6. The “Docks World” card must be presented to the cashier before presenting the items for payment and before the bill is issued.
7. UDL will not accept any responsibility for a “Docks World” card that is lost, stolen or damaged. It remains in the discretion of UDL to replace the lost “Docks World” card, but this is subject to a replacement card fee of Rs…………….
